Q: When I was a kid, I wanted to grow up to be…
A: A wife and a mom…so I guess I’m living my dream.
Q: How did you end up at Project Respect?
A: I saw a job posting in my church bulletin and thought the job sounded like a unique mix of my passions/experiences.
Q: What do you love most about working with Project Respect?
A: I love the opportunity to make an impact in the lives of youth.
Q: Favorite ice cream flavor?
A: The longer the name, the more I will probably like it. Triple chocolate brownie mocha crunch or over-the-top flavors like that.
Q: What food can you not go without?
A: Coffee…preferably flavored coffee with cream, hold the sugar.
Q: What’s one of your best memories as a child?
A: The ordinary, carefree days of summertime…going on adventures in the woods with my brothers, building forts, riding bikes.
Q: If I could go anywhere in the world…
A: Somewhere with mountains.
Q: People might be surprised to know…
A: I met my husband at church camp when I was in 4th grade, and I had a little crush on him.
Q: When I’m not in the office, meetings, or the classroom, I’m most likely to be found…
A: Cooking or baking in my kitchen.
Q: How do you relax?
A: By spending time with my family outside.
Q: What was the last movie, TV show or book that made you emotional, cry or tear up?
A: I think it might have been Zootopia, but that sounds ridiculous. Can we say it was War Room?
Q: Given the choice of anyone in the world, whom would you want as a dinner guest?
A: My husband 🙂
Q: Would you like to be famous? In what way?
A: No way! I couldn’t handle the paparazzi.
Q: What would constitute a perfect day for you?
A: A day at the lake with family.
