We will be hosting a free community event at 7PM on March 3rd, 2016 at the Arts & Ed Building in Bryan (325 West High Street, Bryan, OH). This event is recommended for anyone 7th grade and older due to the subject of the presentation. The following organizations are confirmed for the event:
- Children’s Lantern (www.childrenslantern.org)–Children’s Lantern exists to help helpless children in our four core areas–foster care, feeding kids, freeing survivors and forever families.
- Covered (www.coveredforever.com)–Covered is a unique faith-based outreach and support group for women in the adult-entertainment industry, including victims of commercialized sexual exploitation and trafficking.
- The Daughter Project (www.thedaughterproject.org)–The Daughter Project provides holistic healing services in an extremely safe, home-like environment to girls/women who have been freed from sex traffickers at no cost to them or their families. The services include; abuse & addiction counseling, family/friend restoration, health & nutrition education, medical/dental/vision care, legal counsel and spiritual mentorship.
We will be taking a free-will donation to support local organizations that help aid in the rescue and awareness of trafficking victims.
